Our Story

Around 2015, three young queer individuals from three different corners of the world—Matt Sparks from Pueblo, Colorado, Bryan Berrios from Caracas, Venezuela, and Junting Zhou from Guangzhou, China—made their way to New York, each carrying their unique backgrounds, heritages, as well as different artistic aspirations for either fashion, photography or cinema. However, they all landed on the love and passion for filmmaking and started to work in the city as freelance filmmakers on their own. Inevitably, they crossed paths.

Over the years, these strangers transformed into friends, forging deep connections and becoming close collaborators on numerous projects. In 2023, we decided to open a production company togther to formalize their creative relationships and elevate the production to the next level.

Matt Sparks Editor/Producer

I’m from Pueblo, Colorado and have been in New York for 9 years. I’ve been editing videos all my life and taught myself when I was 6 years old. I moved to NYC to study fashion at Parsons, this helped me discover fashion films which reinvigorated my passion for video. It began as a hobby filming at events in the queer community, and over the years I turned this passion in to a career.

Bryan Berrios DP/Director

I’m from Caracas, Venezuela. I moved to NYC to escape the corruption in my country. I studied photography at Parsons, but then I fell in love with video and film. And I became a full time freelancer ever since I focus more on DP and directing

Junting Zhou DP/Tech Support

I used to work in art gallery and life style magazine in China. In 2015, I came to New York City to pursue my dream to become an artist, which i always dream to be. And I have found my passion and joy in filmmaking and have worked as a cinematographer and made my own films ever since.
